Commissions & Earnings

How is my commission calculated?

You earn 20% of the sale amount for every IDP you sell directly through your referral link, calculated after payment processing fees are deducted. You also earn override commissions on your sub-agents’ sales two levels down: 10% on sales made by agents you directly recruited, and 7% on sales made by agents they recruited. Overrides stop at two levels.

Do my override commissions come out of my sub-agent’s earnings?

No. Your overrides are separate. The selling agent still gets their full 20% direct commission.

I referred a customer but didn’t get credited. Why?

Most likely the referral cookie expired (90 days from first click), the customer switched devices, or the purchase wasn’t made through your tracking link. Sales outside the Expedify portal or not tied to your link don’t count. If you think it’s an error, raise a dispute within 30 days of your payout statement — we may reconsider if you can provide the customer’s full name, order ID, and email address for verification and customer confirmation.

Do I earn commission on repeat orders?

No. Repeat orders from sources other than your direct affiliate link will not be credited.

What happens if a customer gets a partial refund?

Your commission is reduced proportionally. For example, a $35 refund on a $69 sale reverses about 50.7% of your commission on that order.

Payouts

When does my commission get paid?

Commissions are held for 30 days from the sale date. Once cleared, they’re included in the next monthly payout.

What’s the minimum balance to get paid?

$50 in cleared commissions.

How will I get paid?

Bank transfer, direct deposit, or Revolut.

Can my commission be taken back after I’ve been paid?

Yes, within 12 months of the original sale date. If a refund or fraud finding is confirmed in that window, the commission can be reversed even after payout. After 12 months, no reversal applies.

Refunds & Anti-Abuse

What happens to my commission if a customer gets a refund?

The commission is reversed, including any override commissions earned by agents above you in the network.

Is there a limit on how many refunds I can have?

If your refund rate goes above 10% in any 90-day period, your payouts are frozen until the issue is resolved. You’ll be notified in writing if this happens.

What if multiple refunds happen quickly?

Three or more refunds within 30 days triggers a review. A second occurrence within 90 days freezes your payouts.

Am I responsible for my sub-agents?

Yes. If a sub-agent breaks the rules or commits fraud, your commissions and programme access are also at risk. Make sure anyone you recruit understands and agrees to the programme terms before they start.

Commission Disputes

How do I dispute a payout?

You have 30 days from when your payout statement is issued. Submit via the Requests section of your dashboard or email [email protected] with the subject: Commission Dispute - [Your Name] - [Statement Month].

What’s the dispute process?

Expedify responds within 5 business days. If you agree, it’s resolved. If not, escalate in writing within 7 days — a binding decision is issued within 15 business days. If still unresolved, either party can refer to arbitration.

What if my records don’t match Trackdesk?

Trackdesk is the source of truth. Disputes based only on your own records won’t be accepted.

Digital IDP

Can I sell a Digital IDP?

Yes, but you must tell the customer all of the following before they buy:

  • Many car rental companies won’t accept a digital IDP at the counter.
  • Traffic authorities in many countries may reject it, which could lead to fines or vehicle impoundment.
  • Acceptance is not guaranteed — it varies by country and authority.
  • IDA recommends the Physical Printed IDP.

What if I forget to share the digital IDP disclosures?

If the customer suffers a loss because they weren’t informed, the liability is on you — not Expedify or IDA.

Leaving the Programme

How do I leave the programme?

Email [email protected] with the subject: Agent Programme Exit Notice - [Your Name]. You need to give 30 days’ notice.

What happens to my commissions when I leave?

Cleared commissions are paid in your final monthly cycle. Any commissions still in the 30-day hold period at the time of exit are forfeited.

What happens to my sub-agents when I leave?

They stay in the programme and are reassigned by IDA. You have no claim over them after you leave.

Can Expedify remove me?

Yes. With cause (fraud, breach), it’s immediate with no payout on commissions in the clawback window. Without cause, you get 30 days’ notice and cleared commissions are paid within 30 days.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your agent name and the statement month, or read the agent programme overview.
